Brunch Done Best at Tiny Boxwoods
Tiny Boxwoods will forever have a place in my heart. When I first moved to Houston, one of my best friends and one of the best women I know [ I ♥ you Morgan! ] took me to Tiny Boxwoods for dinner. I fell in love with Tiny Boxwoods that day. They have the most adorable atmosphere that actually backs up to a gorgeous, upscale nursery. The Shrimp Risotto is so exceptional, that it’s still my go to order when dining at Tiny’s for dinner.
What To Order for Brunch
Brunch is somehow even better than dinner at Tiny Boxwoods.
My parents and I enjoyed brunch at Tiny’s for the first time together. Our original order is still my favorite and I recommend it every time I’m brunching with friends!
Days Pastry Board
This is a delicious take on bakery favorites. The Days Pastry Board, lets you choose 3 fresh made pastries and they come served with the most amazing strawberry jam and whipped honey butter! You can find the fresh pastry list on the chalkboard inside.
Cheese & Meat Board
This is always a hit and to this day, is still my parent’s favorite. The Cheese & Meat Board is served with an assortment of cheeses & meats, jalapeño jam, whole grain mustard cream, rosemary hazelnuts, dried fruit, and toasted flatbread. This is beautiful and filling; perfect for snacking over a breakfast cocktail while catching up with girlfriends.
Mother’s Breakfast
This plate is an upscale take on a classic southern breakfast. Mother’s Breakfast lets you choose between mother’s sausage or bacon and is served with scrambled eggs, jalapeño cheese grits, a warm biscuit, strawberry jam and more of that delicious whipped honey butter. We’re a crispy bacon kinda family, so that is definitely my suggestion.
Keep in mind my recommendation is to order all 3 and split, knowing you will more than likely have leftovers!
Make sure you bring your favorite sunglasses and enjoy a mimosa while dining al fresco overlooking the manicured lawn and immaculate garden nursery.

Ps. PRO TIP: order a to-go box of Tiny’s Milk and Cookies chocolate chip cookies to snack on later. They are the best in the WORLD, in my humble opinion!
