Noelle Hotel has such rich history and the interiors are just breathtaking. Featured above are pictures from the lobby bar, the roof top bar called Rare Bird, and their coffee shop called the Drug Store.
This boutique Nashville hotel has so much to offer beyond what you would expect from 4-star accommodations.

Dream Hotel
#2 on our list of best boutique Nashville Hotels goes to this artistic gem!
Dream Hotel backs up to Printer’s Alley making it the perfect stay for any night owl or anyone loving a specialty cocktail in a memorable joint. Featured above, you can see a snippet of Printer’s Alley from 1960 compared to now. Its an amazing little slice of history with stiff drinks and the best live music. Dream Hotel features a few hotspots that link directly to Printer’s Alley. Including, a speakeasy vibe bar called Snitch and a dark and glowing nightclub called Dirty Little Secret.
Rumor has it – on the right night, you can even catch a magic show!
Dreamy Details
In direct contrast to Noelle, Dream gives dark and moody vibes with vibrant gemstone colors and modern touches of gold.
Art Deco Accommodations
At this boutique Nashville hotel, like us you will enjoy, the king sized beds, spacious rooms with loveseats to relax, and almost floor-to-ceiling windows! The modern bathrooms feature a dreamy marble scape with black tiles to accent.
Dine Away
On the main floor – there is a super cool restaurant we have YET to try – but have booked for our next “planning trip”. Stateside Kitchen features both a Brunch and Dinner menu. The pictures on Yelp leave my mouth watering and the reviews celebrate this venue for being as delish, as it is beautiful!
A bit of Advice?
Request a room towards the front of the hotel or on a higher floor!
This will prevent any rowdy nightlife noise echoing up Printer’s Alley, from disrupting your slumber!

Dream Hotel – Boutique Nashville Hotel
Holston House
Coming in at the #3 spot of our favorite boutique Nashville hotels – is the Holston House.
Originally built in 1929 this building is full of charm and Art Deco flair!
The Holston House could easily rank higher – if only the overall service level matched the 4-star aesthetic of this hotel.
Don’t get me wrong – nothing has ever been overtly wrong during our stays at Holston House.
COVID has simply impacted some of the personalized offerings you would expect from a boutique hotel.
Apartment Vibes
Overall – I absolutely LOVE Holston House. The rooms are the largest out of the hotels I have reviewed so far. Hardwood floors run throughout and room dividing “barn doors” section off a standard king room, to feel like a high-rise apartment!
Privy Privacy
My absolute FAVORITE feature is that the toilet is separate from the bathroom, including its own sink and mirror, creating a half-bath feel.
This is phenomenal for when more than 1 person is trying to get ready at the same time!
And honestly, who doesn’t appreciate a little more privacy?
Business or Pleasure?
In the snapshot above you can see me, enjoying the fabulous LED vanity lighting on the right. While Mario is hard at work in the live/work space on the left!
For those traveling in as early as Wednesday or Thursday, needing a little more space for more clothes, or even to work remote; this boutique Nashville Hotel provides enough space for that work life balance.
Historic Charms
Like Noelle, this boutique hotel does not feature a true closet. Instead, you’ll find ample space to unpack on the tiered shelving system with rolling rack attached. Another thing I love about Holston House, are the windows. Our rooms always feature 2 walls with windows showcasing downtown views. Just another way Holston House feels more like a chic apartment!
Location, Location, Location
Holston House has the speediest valet of any hotel we have enjoyed in Nashville.
Partly because their parking lot is conveniently next door. But mostly because it is not situated on/off 4th street.
This pet friendly boutique Nashville hotel is just a blocks away from the night life Nashville has become known for. Walking distance or just minutes away in a quick Uber. This makes Holston House the ultimate sweet spot between peaceful sleep and any hotspot you want to see!
In addition to the spacious lobby with multi-level seating, making it the perfect place to gather with new friends and fellow travelers.
There is also a glamorous lobby bar and a separate restaurant, the highly praised Bar TENN.

Holston House – Boutique Nashville Hotel
Graduate Nashville
#4 is perfect for the girls and my gays – the Graduate Nashville hotel.
This boutique Nashville hotel has to be one of my all-time favorite hotel experiences to date.
I would honestly have this tie for #1 if the aesthetic wasn’t so specific – which is ironically one of my favorite things about this whole hotel.
Dorm Room
The rooms are spacious and the decor is impeccable.
I’m telling you – the level of detail in every inch of this hotel, is like Dolly Parton and Walt Disney designed this place together.
Aside from the hallway seeming a little noisy at times, just as other guests were walking by, we really didn’t hear anything after 10pm! Which for a bachelorette party’s dream of a hotel – that’s pretty incredible soundproofing! 😉
White Limozeen
The rooftop bar and restaurant appropriately named White Limozeen, after one of Dolly Parton’s hit singles, is fabulous, pink and just a touch too loud. Fun for a weekend night – but, if I have ANY complaint about the Graduate, its simply that I couldn’t hear the person sitting next to me at White Limozeen.
We still enjoyed a nightcap and dessert here our first night and the views of downtown are spectacular.
The larger-than-life Dolly Parton bust by the pool is the ultimate photo opportunity.
Devil is in the Details
To be honest – this entire hotel is an instagram worthy photo op! I mean talk about DETAIL. Even the key cards feature the faces of famous Country Music stars. During our stay, we were handed Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash to swipe!
The carpet pattern features some unique Nashville nods. Like the cowboy boots for our famed Country Music, the anchor to represent Vanderbilt University, Iris flowers for the Tennessee state flower, and the trio of stars to mirror the Tennessee state flag.
Southern Hospitality
The entire staff went above and beyond during our stay. Whether it was complimentary High Noon canned cocktails at check-in to congratulate our recent engagement, or the complimentary coffee and Prosecco with our cake tasting, or just the smile and hospitality every member of staff exudes; we felt special every day at the Graduate!
This was actually the only hotel where valet helped us with our luggage all the way to the lobby, and not just the curb.
To be clear, I am not saying that “free” things make for a great stay.
But the intention behind each gesture, was really heartfelt and truly made each memorable moment a celebration!

Rounding out our Top 5 Boutique Nashville Hotels – is The Russell.
This hidden gem in East Nashville is so full of character and charm and color!
To clarify, we haven’t stayed here YET. But, the glowing online reviews convinced us to book our next “wedding planning” trip here.
Cathedral Convenience
The Russell is a remodeled church in the trendy East Nashville neighborhood. LITERALLY 2 minutes from Five Points AKA the hottest bars and restaurants in East Nash. And less than 10 minutes from the bustling nightlife on Broadway!
This boutique Nashville hotel is super unique for several reasons:
1. Self Check-In
There is no front desk – and no “on-site” staff. Think like the AirBNB of hotels!
Not to fret – if you need anything, the staff is just 1 text away and from all the reviews, you’ll get a response pronto.
2. Frugal Friendly
Because there is such little overhead in comparison to major hotel chains – The Russell is an affordable yet extremely stylish and conveniently located hotel, in Nashville.
3. Some Rooms Have NO Windows
Don’t worry – these are clearly listed in the room details!
This super cool feature, some rooms having only skylights, is kinda incredible for those of us who dream of sleeping under the stars, or who need bat-like conditions for a good night’s sleep.
4. Luxury Concierge Services
If you’re looking to add something special to make your stay just a little more magical, The Russell has a pre-coordinated Luxury Concierge who offers everything! From balloon arches, to charcuterie boards, custom welcome baskets, “stock the bar” amenities, groceries, a photographer and even fresh flowers can all be arranged to arrive in advance!
