La Prairie skincare might have saved my life.
Would you believe me if I told you that before starting this blog I was a “make-up wipe with a splash of water” kinda gal? Yeah, let’s all cringe together!
Of course I know how important skincare is for a number of reasons. So now, I am happy to report that skincare is a crucial part of my daily routine. But before, due to not knowing a lot on the subject and naively thinking I would have wrinkle-free skin forever; I never really invested any time or money into a regimen.
How I discovered La Prairie
I had the privilege to see Tina Craig speak at Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston sometime over the Holiday Season. She was so passionate about skincare, especially La Prairie, that it really peaked my interest. A few weeks later, I decided it was time I truly invest in myself and in my skincare, so I set up an appointment with Irene at the Houston Saks Fifth Avenue Store.

Together, we made a tailored regimen just for me. Once I truly gave these products a shot, I honestly saw a difference within my first week’s use. My smile lines literally appeared filled in and the once noticeable crease was lifted to a faint line. The lines on my forehead, previously my main concern, have all but disappeared. Yes, to be fair, I wasn’t in irreversible shape before, but my years of abusing tanning beds and thinking I was invincible [ #foreveryoung ] had definitely started to catch up to me.
I ultimately decided on 2 La Prairie products that worked best for me and for my age now. I partnered these products back to my favorite skincare from other lines to complete a full daily regimen.
