Pray for
California

Mario took this picture April of last year.
This is how the skies of California should always look.
Not the nightmarish orange they glow now due to the California Wildfires.

So, before I post any more “regularly scheduled content”
I wanted to take a moment and talk about ways we can help out those battling AND those affected by the horrific California Wildfires.

Donate

The first and most obvious / accessible way to help no matter where you are, is to donate in anyway you can.
Below are a few impactful ways you can donate based on how you would like to help those affected by the California Wildfires.

People
Helping
People

I personally love the Salvation Army option and I have donated myself because you can choose from 2 different ways to donate.

First Option – “Support the Greatest Need”
Make a gift that will assist the people with vital services now and throughout the year.
Second Option – “Support Wildfire Response”
Make a gift that directly supports evacuees and first responders of the California Wildfires.
^ this is the way I chose to go!

Don’t Forget
the
Animals!

So many displaced pets, animals left behind, wild critters who’ve lost their homes – all need help just as much as people do.

Donating to help the furry helpless not only helps small animals but larger animals, like horses, are also taken care of. The Humane Society of Ventura County also has a Pet Food Bank program, that provides goods and food to animals across the county.

The Real Cowboy 911: this charity organization page provides bulletins and links for people and organizations needing assistance with livestock and pets during emergency situations like these California Wildfires.

Food Drive

Check out this link from the Salvation Army on ways to donate food – and other items to families in need.

Meals of Gratitude: is a charitable organization that sends meals to firefighters, evacuees and volunteer support at the frontlines of disasters.

2020 has been one hell of a year for all of us – but we have to keep standing together, helping out our fellow man, and being there for those in need ♥️

To all my friends and family in California, my thoughts and prayers are with you!
Sending love and support to all those suffering.
Comment below other ways we can help those in need from the California Wildfires.

Between COVID and this.. stay safe everyone!
